eLearning Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
In these terms and conditions, "we" and "us" means The Institute of Clinical Research (ICR), whose registered office is Institute House, Boston Drive, Bourne End, Buckinghamshire, SL8 5YS, UK
2. Access to eLearning material
We will endeavour to allow uninterrupted access to the eLearning material, but access to the modules may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time. We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove without notice any information in the eLearning material from time to time. Users have access to the eLearning module purchased for two years from the date of registering for one of our modules.
3. Intellectual Property
The copyright in the material contained in the eLearning modules, together with the design, text and graphics, and their selection and arrangement, and all software compilations belongs to ICR. All rights are reserved. None of this material may be reproduced or redistributed without our written permission. You may, however, download or print a single copy for your own non-commercial viewing.
If you download eLearning material from the site, the eLearning material, including all files and images, contained in or generated by the material, and accompanying data (together referred to as "eLearning") are deemed to be licensed to you by ICR, for your personal, non-commercial use only. ICR does not transfer either the title or the intellectual property rights to the eLearning and ICR retains full and complete title to the eLearning as well as all intellectual property rights therein. You may not sell, redistribute or reproduce the eLearning, nor may you decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise convert the eLearning to a human-perceivable form. ICR or its licensors owns all trademarks and logos and you may not copy or use them in any manner.
4. Exclusions of liability
We use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the data in the eLearning material is accurate and to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable after being notified of them. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties and representations (whether express or implied) as to the accuracy of any information contained on the Website. We do not guarantee that the eLearning material will be fault free and do not accept liability for any errors or omissions.
We do not give any warranty that the Website is free from viruses or anything else, which may have a harmful effect on any technology.
ICR makes no representation whatsoever regarding the content of any other websites, which you may access from eLearning. A link to a non-ICR website does not mean that ICR endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content or use of such website.
5. User name and password
On registering with us, you are issued with a user name and password, which must be used in order to access eLearning. The user name and password are personal to you and are not transferable.
Your name and password are the methods used by us to identify you and so are very important. You are responsible for any payments due for services accessed through the Website by anyone using your user name and password. Any breach of security of a user name and password should be notified to us immediately.
6. Payment
eLearning is only accessible once payment has been confirmed by ICR.
7. Right to cancel and refunds
You can cancel eLearning ordered within 7 days of your order being accepted, your right to cancel ceases once provision of the services starts. You accept that the services will often be provided shortly after the order is accepted and as a result you may only have a short period, if any, in which to cancel an order.
You should send any notice of cancellation of an order to ICR (elearning@icr-global.org). Please give full details of the order, including username(s) and password(s) we have given you for it.
Where you cancel an order in accordance with these terms and conditions, we will refund to you any sums paid for that order within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation. We may deduct any direct costs we incur.
9. Termination
We may terminate your access to the eLearning modules and the services within it on not less than three days' written notice to you.
10. General
We may modify these terms and conditions at any time by publishing the modified terms and conditions on the Website. Any modifications shall take effect 3 days after posting on the Website.
