Mission Statement
To inform members on the latest technologies and techniques being used to advance drug development, to promote the utilisation of innovative tools and approaches in clinical trials and to assess the impact these will have on key job functions.
Aims
To ensure members have access to information and expertise in the following areas (as defined by the Innovative Medicines survey - 2007):

Biomarkers & diagnostics (to include imaging techniques, pharmacogenomics, genetics and genomics)

Immunotherapy & gene therapy

Regulatory & ethical issues (specifically pertaining to points 1 & 2)
By providing basic and intermediate overviews and updates via CRfocus articles, the website (FAQs & literature reviews), seminars and Spring Conference sessions.
