GCP Forum

This group meets to discuss current GCP issues. The meeting starts with a short presentation on a pre-defined topic and then opens up the topic for discussion. Any updates on new legislation or guidelines are shared and there is then an opportunity to ask (and hopefully have answered) any GCP-related questions.

Forum Details:

Running trials in the UK facilities and the challenges of doing so. The GCP forum will consider a typical NHS site and typical (industry-sponsored) study and look at the challenges setting up and conducting such a study in 2010 from different stakeholders’ perspectives. These are expected to include a CRA, an auditor, a research nurse and a clinical trials pharmacist presenting what they would each like to receive, what they actually receive and how this can be improved. The Ethics forum will cover the vital latest updates and news in that area.
