Fees for ICR events

ICR Events have become increasingly popular due to the pertinent agendas, the excellent speakers we are able to attract, and the networking opportunities they provide. The cost of these events has historically been subsidised by ICR because membership subscriptions are not sufficient to cover the costs.

With increasing numbers of ICR members attending the events (more than 2,000 in 2008), and the current economic climate, the ICR is no longer able to fully absorb these costs. In order to continue providing these events, we regret that we need to introduce a nominal charge for attendance. This will apply for all events taking place from May 18th onwards, starting with the GCP and Ethics forum.

The charges will be:

Member: £19.00 per forum

Member Health Service/Academic: £15.00 per forum

Non-member: £75.00 (includes affiliate membership for 12 months)

Non-member Health Service /Academic: £57.00 (includes affiliate membership for 12 months)

Payment and bookings must be made online by credit or debit card in advance of the event.

We have kept fees to a minimum and believe that these events will continue to be a valuable and enjoyable service to members.
