Senior Clinical Trials Manager - Full-time or Part-time (minimum 21 hours per week)

£34,435 - £43,622 pa (pro-rata) 

The University of Southampton Clinical Trials Unit (UoSCTU) was established three years ago with funding from Cancer Research UK and is based at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust. We are a rapidly expanding unit, managing several high quality multi-centre clinical trials that will directly influence routine clinical practice, and we are closely linked with the MRC Clinical Trials Unit, London.

We have a vacancy for a Senior Clinical Trials Manager to lead the Clinical Trials Management Group and be a member of the UoSCTU management team.  You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have expert knowledge of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements, including ICH GCP. 

The position is available on a fixed-term contract until 30 September 2010 in the first instance. A full or part-time (minimum 21 hours per week) appointment would be considered.
