Exciting opportunity for an accomplished Study Manager with good expertise in the planning and conduct of Phase I/PoC/Phase IIa studies in Man. This is a chance to establish yourself within a leading innovative biopharma and to lead study delivery operations in early clinical development.
Based in Herts, you will initially lead international studies across all therapeutic areas, including Drug Interaction studies, Food Effect studies and Bioavailability studies. There will in time also be First in Man studies for new compounds, as well as renal and hepatic studies to plan and oversee after a period in role.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience including working as a Pharmacology Study Manager, clinical study coordinator/lead CRA in the UK and at least one other European country
- Sound understanding of Phase I/IIa projects
- Ability to co-ordinate activities of other more junior members of staff.
- Prior experience in negotiating contracts, site agreements and budgets
- Competent to provide management update on progress and budget
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Team player, flexible and proactive, Self-starter
